Soil Analysis for Your Truffle Farm

Soil analysis allows you to understand the actual truffle potential in your farm. Land choice is essential to the success of a truffle plantation. Without the proper pH or soil structure, yields will be greatly diminished. Furthermore, without a soil sample and understanding your soil’s buffer capacity, there is no way to accurately lime the soil to achieve a pH of 7.5-8.0

• Complete Soil Test: $80 / sample

Basic Soil Test

This includes a pH reading, soil texture information, and calcium carbonate levels.

For this analysis, only 4 oz. of soil is required per lot. If you are testing two or more locations or plantations, it is necessary to separate samples with identifying marking.

Complete Soil Test

This superior test includes pH reading, electrical conductivity, calcium carbonate (CaCo₃ ) levels, organic matter, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), sodium (Na), the Carbon / Nitrogen ratio, and soil sand, silt, and clay percentages.
